Located on the first floor of our Regency house is King Double Bedroom. This room occupies the former drawing room and is full of bespoke features. It has original fireplace retaining 19th Century tiles, beautiful ceiling rose which we dressed in 1940’s brass and crystal chandelier, original door and sumptuous skirting. It has two windows to the east surrounded by magnificent Georgian wooden frames, that have been painstakingly restored. Third window is facing south, and they all have partial sea view. The bedroom décor reflects the care that we have taken to compliment the Georgian features with a modern flourish. Antique mahogany fabulously carved four poster bed with superbly comfortable super king size mattress ensure great nights sleep. Bedside tables with statement lamps are added to finish the décor as well as French style chaise lounge and modern coffee table. The bedroom is also furnished with wardrobe, antique desk/dressing table and Tea & Coffee station. Custom made roman blackout blinds are fitted for comfort.

The marble tiled large en-suite bathroom has been designed to resonate with Abbey View's historic past using classic fixtures and fittings with luxury towels and complimentary toiletries. It has a window with restored wooden frame and a large shower enclosure both rain head and handheld set. Guests have their own tea & coffee making facilities and chilled water is provided on arrival.
