Fabulous room, really well located gorgeous town

Parking was a bit of a faff when we arrived, but we got a cake and cuppa in town, and space opened up when we returned - once again the power of cake is proven!

Freda was amazing , so warm and welcoming Fresh croissants in the morning such a lovely touch

We absolutely loved our stay at your guesthouse! From the very beginning to the very end, we felt truly cared for and welcomed. ❤️ A huge thank you for all the lovely little treats 😋 waiting for us in the room, and especially for the wonderful smell of freshly baked goods in the morning — such a warm and delightful touch! The room was bright, beautiful, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The bed was incredibly cozy and perfect for a relaxing night’s sleep. And the location is simply 10/10 — absolutely perfect! Thank you once again for your kindness and hospitality. We will definitely be back and would be delighted to stay with you again! 💕

Delightful room, wonderful bed - best night's sleep I have had in years. Great location could walk to restaurants and beach. Beautiful walk on the boardwalk and lovely clean beach. Recommend everyone visits St Mary's church a real gem.

No parking but had no problem parking for free just behind Abbey View and was fullyadvised f th parking situation prior to arrival

I’m completely obsessed with cleanliness and organisation, and this hotel is amazing! The room was absolutely spotless. I was so impressed.

Freshly baked pastry’s was a lovely touch each morning!

Freda made our stay so easy. We had a smooth check-in and an arrival email. It was stressful to be driving to a different city each night because it was hard to know where to eat. We arrived at Abbey View in the late evening. Freda had left great snacks including some wonderful Easter egg treats and candy for my two teenage daughters. They thought that was so nice! It was like an early Easter surprise. The pastries that Freda delivered in the morning were delicious--and warm! We would not have known where to look for such great food early in the morning and would have wasted time driving around. I'm not used to having food delivered to my door. It was great! The apartment is cozy and clean and comfortable. My daughters slept in the nice upstairs bedroom with skylights and a bath. My sister and I stayed downstairs in a very comfortable bed with our own bath and great shower. I like the little sitting room, too. She also has a great kitchen. Parking at the closed gas station around the corner was fine. We had to drive past the house a few times just because we were so uncertain about where we were and what exactly we were looking for. Once we found everything, the location is very easy. Wonderful introduction to Irish hospitality on our 2nd night in the country!

Fourposter bedroom is large and exceptionally comfortable, it is beautifully decorated. Lovely historic building which retains its history with luxurious furnishings and great showers. Great continental breakfast, loved the hot croissants delivered to the door.

Fabulous. Host was very friendly and welcoming, every detail was considered, great facilities with anything you could need available. Warm and cosy, gorgeous decorations for Christmas. Provisions for breakfast were plentiful with lots of options.

I could hear the people in room above me. Heavy steps across the floor and could hear them talking. I understand there is very little you could do to change this. The noise was not excessive and did not last long so it didn't affect my experience.

It was wonderful staying in such a beautiful building. The attention to detail is incredible. The continental breakfast is superb quality and in the comfort of your room.
